The long pedestrianised shopping street running south-west from the city centre towards London Road, rebuilt after the Blitz destroyed most of it in 1940. It was redeveloped again in the 2010s with the Moor Market, which replaced the old Castle Market in 2013, and the Light cinema. Not to be confused with the moors of the Peak District on the city's western edge.
