Meadowhall

The indoor shopping centre in the Lower Don Valley near junction 34 of the M1, opened in 1990 on the site of the former Hadfields steelworks. With around 280 shops it is one of the largest in the UK and has its own Supertram, train and bus interchange. Sheffielders who prefer the city centre call it Meadowhell.
