Sheffield's own spicy, fruity, vegan condiment, made in the city since 1885 when Henry Henderson began selling it from Broad Lane. Similar in look to Worcestershire sauce but with no anchovies, it goes on pies, chips, stews, cheese on toast and, according to Sheffielders, everything. Made on Leavygreave Road until 2013 and now at a factory on the Sheffield Parkway. Universally known as Hendo's.
