The riverside district north of Kelham Island along Neepsend Lane, once dominated by the gasworks and the Wardsend area's industry. It has followed Kelham Island into new life with breweries, Yellow Arch Studios, Peddler Market's warehouse and a run of bars and venues. Historically it was hard hit by the 1864 flood.
