The brewery founded in 2005 at Thornbridge Hall near Bakewell in Derbyshire, whose Jaipur IPA helped start the British craft beer boom. It is close enough and sells enough in Sheffield to count as an honorary local, owns a string of Sheffield pubs including the Bath Hotel, the Greystones and the Hallamshire House, and revived the Kelham Island Brewery name after that brewery closed in 2022.
