Winter Garden

The great glasshouse next to the Peace Gardens and Millennium Gallery, opened in 2003. Built from parabolic arches of laminated larch, it is about 70 metres long and 21 metres high, one of the largest temperate glasshouses in the UK, and is free to walk through. It links Surrey Street to the Millennium Gallery and the Crucible.
