NovaCity Centre Rotherham is home to the largest indoor parkour park in the UK. Opened in 2015 inside a converted warehouse on Barbot Hall Industrial Estate, the not-for-profit centre runs classes six days a week in parkour and freerunning, street dance, Tricks and Flips, Nova Ninjas for under 5s, cheerleading and famous open sessions that regularly attract some of the most talented parkour athletes in the world.

Alongside the parkour park the building houses a dance studio, a giant purple spring floor and an aerial performance area, plus an on-site cafe. NovaCity also hosts Project Underground, the biggest parkour competition in the UK, and runs school-holiday clubs including free HAF places for eligible children. Sessions are booked through the NovaCity app, with drop-in sign-up at reception.

Prefer training outdoors too? NovaCity sits half an hour from Sheffield, where the Sheffield Parkour & Freerunning community has run free outdoor sessions since 2005 – a perfect complement to indoor classes.
