We are hoping to recruit a new member to join our pharmacy family in our innovative small team of qualified professionals, as an apprentice Pharmacy Assistant. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to a higher-level qualification.
The role: Dispensing of medication to patients Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & safety responsibility Rotation of stock Use of patient record systems and use of smart cards Data entry relating to medication Labelling and dispensing Accuracy and attention to detail Working within a team environment Liaison with doctors, surgery and health professionals Completion of apprenticeship work on time
Training: Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 and Functional Skills if required.
After the apprenticeship: Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship A possible permanent position within the organisation

Working week: Monday – Friday between hours of 9.00am – 6.00pm, Saturday 9.00am – 1.00pm will have day off during the week.
Pay information: £13,312 a year
