The role: As a Production Apprentice, you'll be initially responsible for (but not limited to) the following: The manufacturing and finishing of various specialised hand tool handles, furniture components and ornamental products Use a variety of manual machinery, including lathes, table saw, sanding belts, polishers, linishing machines and hand tools Accurately follow job cards and update accordingly, reporting any issues to the Management Work to quality and environmental standards required for the components/materials Use a variety of manual equipment to complete tasks as required Undertake final inspections of finished components Package and warehouse finished products ready for dispatch Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area for colleagues and yourself When trained, ensure job timings are met/exceeded You’ll learn side-by-side with experienced colleagues who want to share their knowledge, giving you hands-on exposure to a wide range of tasks and a real understanding of how the whole business operates. Training: Engineering Operative Level 2. The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group at one of their campuses on a day release format, giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and successful engineer.
After the apprenticeship: Possible further training on CNC machinery. A lifelong career in the manufacturing industry with Woodware Repetitions.

Working week: Monday to Friday – 08:30 – 15:30 including one day spent at college on day-release. Flexible if required.
