What you should be paying

This is a benchmark for a standard variable tariff, not a quote. A fixed deal, prepayment meter, Economy 7 tariff or payment on receipt of bill has different rates.
Sheffield compared with Great Britain
Yorkshire is 25.31p per kWh versus the GB average of 26.11p, with a 64.38p daily standing charge versus 57.19p. At Ofgem's typical 2,700 kWh usage, that works out at about £918 a year here, about £5 higher than the GB benchmark.
From 1 October, the Yorkshire benchmark becomes 25.60p per kWh and 61.67p a day. At typical use, that is about £2 a year less for this fuel.

Fixed or variable?
Variable tariff
Rates can move when the price cap changes. The cap limits unit rates and standing charges, not your total bill: using more still costs more.
Fixed tariff
Unit rates are fixed for an agreed term. Compare both rates, the standing charge, contract length and any exit fee rather than the headline saving alone.
Check whether a quoted saving uses your real annual consumption and current tariff. A comparison result is only as useful as those starting figures.

Two things a housing provider would want are not here yet. Fuel poverty by LSOA is an annual DESNZ spreadsheet release, not an API, and has not been imported: it would answer which parts of Sheffield are worst hit, never whether one household is in fuel poverty. EPC band distribution by area needs a free registered key on the register's new host, which this site does not hold.
