Adrian Finney

Adrian Finney is a Sheffield storyteller and author, and the guide behind Strange Britain and its Strange Sheffield Ghost Tours. He led his first ghost tour on 29 October 2021 along Bunting Nook in Norton, and five years on the walks are a fixture of the city centre: two routes from Leah’s Yard on Cambridge Street on alternate Friday nights, mixing local history, folklore and a lot of comedy.

For Halloween 2026 he is marking five years with a run of city-centre Halloween specials from 24 to 31 October and an anniversary return to Bunting Nook on Thursday 29 October. Away from the tours he writes the Strange Britain books, including The Sins of Sheffield: True Crime Tales from the Steel City, runs true crime nights and special events, and makes the Strange Britain video and podcast series.
