Rocky Horrors is Sheffield’s long-standing alternative shop on Division Street, and has been dressing the city’s rockers, goths, punks and metalheads since 1990. It is independent, family-run and friendly, and reviewers keep mentioning the warm welcome as much as the stock.
A little history
By the shop’s own account, Rocky Horrors opened on 13 October 1990 on the top floor of an old little mesters’ workshop on Cambridge Street, then moved across to Division Street in 2003. That makes October 2026 its 36th birthday, and it is still one of the reasons Division Street feels like Sheffield’s alternative high street.
