On Friday 18th of September ALGORHYTHM and Fixate join forces for a night of full throttle techno at Sidney & Matilda, joined by none other than Bailey Ibbs. Having spent years exploring and experimenting with his sound, Bailey Ibbs entered the techno scene in 2022 with the release of his ‘Volta EP’, which garnered the attention of heavyweights such as DVS1, Ben Klock, and MARRØN. Fast forward to today, as the curator of his own label ‘Night Service’ and a resident of the legendary Tresor, Bailey continues to evolve and refine his sound with each release & performance. We’re very excited to be bringing him to Sheffield. Supporting Bailey is Shared Frequencies’ INKLING GIRLZ, who bring the same heavy, floor-oriented energy to the mix . Expect deep, rhythm-driven selections built to keep the floor moving. Joining them on the bill are two b2bs bringing both camps together: ALGORHYTHM’s Harrison, known for an explorative approach built on deep-hitting percussion, driving rhythm, and a fluid pull between the deeper and more forceful edges of techno, goes b2b with Fixate’s Move Elusive to bring an energy built on deep groove and relentless, hard-hitting techno. Alongside them, Fixate Residents Olórin and Cimmerian go b2b bringing the bouncy hardgoove techno that’s become a signature of the collective. Over in the bar, we’ve called in Flock for some no-nonsense house. Residents Gross Rodriguez & Jord Guest will be on selections from 10pm-1am. With an emphasis on sound, space, and atmosphere, ALGORHYTHM is a raw core of Sheffield’s underground scene – delivering uncompromising, Berlin-inspired club experiences through low capacity parties with high fidelity sound. Fixate sits on the energetic, party-honed end of underground techno – bouncy fast-paced hardgrooves built for maximum dancefloor intensity. Two crews both strongly rooted in Sheffield’s underground, all under one roof for one night only. As always, limited tickets available. Exclusively on RA. 18+
