Elwell grew out of Spike Elwell’s solo songs into a full Leeds four-piece, pulling in members of Scum, Speaking in Tongues, Clit Spit, Cage Girl and Clabber. The result splices 90s emo with the indie of the 2000s and 2010s.
Catch it at the Neepsend brewery tap and events space on Percy Street on Friday 24th July 2026 from 21:00 to 21:30 – entry is free. It’s one of hundreds of free gigs happening across Sheffield for the Fringe at Tramlines, the citywide festival that shadows Tramlines weekend from 23rd to 26th July.
