Neuroqueer Heresies 2

Gut Level

Another night of bands -festive edition

SUNDAY 20TH DECEMBER 2026 @ GUT LEVEL 7pm – 10pm – Tickets £1 / £6 / £10

This is a New Counter Culture Collective [NCCC] Event.

Featuring:

Oscillators ov Gaia: ‘Neuroqueer Synth Improv’

Neuroqueering / NCCC regular Sol E Nte presents an opening set of synth improvisation.

Little Tiger:  ‘Unadulterated Queer Joy’

Little Tiger is a Sheffield-based synth-pop / new wave duo comprised of Alex Vance (they/them) on synth and vocals, and Ava Burns (she/her) on synth and bass.  Contrasting electronic beats with lush synthesizers and melodic, propulsive bass lines, Little Tiger’s evocative soundscapes reflect their love of The Cure, Depeche Mode and The Human League. Their emotionally astute lyrics celebrate the divergent and nonconforming, blending defiance, kinship and unadulterated queer joy.

@littletigerband

Limewave:  ‘Synthpop for Cynics’

Blending 80s inspired sounds and vocals with electric violin and a lot of green, Limewave takes you on a traverse through the existential, societal and introspective that will leave you nostalgic for a time that never happened. Perfect for those disillusioned with today.

Overton Widow: ‘Neuroqueer Dance Punk’

Carrying the flame lit by the bands that quite literally saved our lives, Sheffield’s Overton Widow exists primarily as a portal to reignite your soul. An Overton Widow live show is an invitation to celebrate yourself and the extraordinary fact that you’ve actually made it this far. The band channels the souldeep intensity of Joy Division whilst bringing the Manics’ unwavering belief in music as a force for cultural change, all underscored by Talk Talk’s uncompromising artistic integrity. Their sound is a living archive of contradictions and catharsis, weaving the humour and social commentary of The Smiths with the electronic tones of Boards of Canada and myth-making archetypal pulse of The KLF. This is neuroqueer dance-punk for the age of anxiety.
