Saint Mars of the Desert’s free Franconian-style summer bierfest returns over four weekends from 24 July, with four SMOD lagers on tap, gravity-poured stichfass barrels, wooden holzfass festbier, food and plenty of schlager music. Gates open 2pm, last orders 7.30pm, and dirndl or lederhose are positively encouraged.
