Black Peppa is a Birmingham-based performer who reached the final of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series 4. Born on Saint Martin, they bring a Caribbean flavour to a look-driven, dance-led style built on their years as a model and dancer on the Birmingham scene, where they became a fixture at the Nightingale Club.Before Drag Race they won the Church of Yshee in 2019 and EuroDrag England in 2020. The name is part celebration of their blackness, part a friend’s Peppa Pig obsession, and part a love of spiced food.
