Cadaverous Black
Horror drag, with live vocals, magic and fire.
Cadaverous Black is a UK horror drag artist known for hauntingly precise makeup, self-made costume and performances staged against dry ice and wind machines. The look owes a debt to the silent-horror star Lon Chaney, and the whole project traces back to the black mass sequence in Disney’s Fantasia, watched on repeat as a child. Beyond the stage they are a vocal champion of alternative drag artists and of platforms like Cryptid Queers that make room for every form of the art.
